Downloadable files and their formats:
*.txt → plaintext
*.pdf → Portable Document Format (PDF)
*.sxw → OpenOffice Writer
*.doc → Microsoft Word
*.ppt → Microsoft PowerPoint
*.gif → GIF image (still or animated)
*.png → Portable Network Graphic (image)
*.mpg → Motion Picture Experts Group (MPEG-1; video)
*.html → usual, just click on it
*.tcl → Tcl script file (most likely uses VMD's Tcl API)
*.py → Python module/script file (most likely uses VMD's Python API)
